Father’s Day Gift Guide 2023

You may have forgotten, so I’m here to remind you, it’s Father’s Day on Sunday 18th June 2023. I don’t know about you but I personally have spent a lot of my time in the past, scouring the internet for genuinely good gift guides and more often than not, failed. Miserably.

Soooooo…

I’m going to rectify that and provide you all with what I believe to be a genuinely good gift guide. This is ‘dad edition’ but could be used for men in general. I’ve tried to offer a range of options with varying prices so there should be something for everyone.

  1. An Experience

It’s always a fun idea to do an experience and this is often one of the best kinds of gift for some people. There is a big variety of options from skydiving to dining out on the Virgin Experiences website. They even have a section dedicated to Father’s Day so have a browse.

2. Socks

Can anyone really have enough socks? And don’t most dad’s constantly have holes in theirs? It’s simple, yet effective and almost always appreciated.

3. Hot Sauce

This is obviously not going to work for everyone and is targeted towards those who like hot sauce. I got this for my dad a couple of years ago and it went down very well! There is a variety of different intensities and they really are a delicious addition to a meal.

4. Men’s Skincare

Not all men are big into their skincare but they can be and it doesn’t have to be hard! Although stereotypically a feminine industry, male skincare is certainly becoming more and more prevalent. You could make life really easy for the men in your life with these Keihl’s products. My dad uses these and they seem to do the job.

5. Scrapbook / Photo Album

If you want to go for something more on the sentimental side and the cheaper side, then this one is for you! Print out some photos or other memorabilia you have of you and your dad and cut, stick and glue into an empty book. You can have complete control over this and just allow your creativity juices to flow. It’s bound to pull at his heart strings!

6. Tech

Your dad might be a tech whiz and be in need of a new Apple Watch strap, an iPad case etc. I for one have a dad who is always so on it with charging appliances when we’re on holiday, for example. This could be the charging device your dad has needed:

7. Lego

This is a really fun one that you can get involved with too. I hadn’t really done lego before until I got my dad a Lego McLaren F1 car and we have loved doing it together! The design is amazing and it really is a lot of fun. There’s so many options of different things you can build so have a look on the lego website.

8. Wallet / Card Holder

An everyday essential. It’s pretty self explanatory.

9. Alcohol

Pick your dad’s favourite alcohol and get a lovely bottle to show your love this Father’s Day. There’s lots out there so I’ll mostly leave this one up to you to find. Hopefully he’s in the mood to share!

10. Gardening

A bit of a stereotype I know but most dad’s revel in new gardening tools. Mine does at least. Have a think about what he might be missing or need another of and bob’s your uncle.

11. Cap

This one is cheap and cheerful and perfect for summer! You can’t have enough caps and neither can your dad.

12. Apple AirTag

If your dad is the forgetful type then you can't go wrong with these. It’ll help him keep all his belongings in check and there’s 4 in this pack so plenty to go around.

13. Tennis Racket

Summer is here and so is tennis season. You might be inspired by watching Wimbledon or simply want to go hit a ball around for some bonding time. Either way, you need a tennis racket.
