Rhode Skincare Review

Hailey Rhode Bieber. There she goes adding to the long list of reasons why I love her by releasing her own skincare brand, Rhode. Not only that, but it is now available in the UK and more products are beginning to be announced adding to the divine collection of skincare staples.

You’d be lying if you said Hailey doesn’t have absolutely gorgeous glowing, dewy skin. She says herself that her skincare goal is always to look like a glazed donut, so much so that people want to take a bite out of her! Her words, not mine.

Not only are the products packaged sustainably, but they are all under $30. Hailey stresses that she wanted her brand to be accessible and boy am I thankful for it. There are plenty of overpriced celebrity brands purely because of their name and not necessarily quality.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on Rhode at the very beginning when it was only shipping within the US, so I’ve been trying and testing it for a while and now here is my review.

Peptide Lip Treatment

I always struggle when it comes to lip products. I get very dry lips and I find it very hard to find lip products that really genuinely work. Now, I have tried an extensive amount of various ones and am often switching between a few. This actually does me no favours because it makes it very hard for me to know what is working and what is not. I always come back to a good old tube of Aquaphor for reliable hydration.

So, when I received my Rhode package I was very excited to try out the lip treatment. I was not disappointed. Like I said before, it’s hard to tell what works for me and what doesn’t so I can’t honestly comment on the hydration factor, however, the shine and gloss effect of this lip treatment is truly amazing. It doesn’t feel sticky at all and is the perfect finish to a lip liner or simply on it’s own. I love the slickness of the packaging and the applicator is great. Mine has been thrown around in lots of bags so is looking a bit worse for wear but nonetheless, a staple.

Hailey vowed to create fragrance free products for her brand but made an exception for her lip treatments. My favourite has got to be the salted caramel. It takes a lot of self control not to lick it all off! There is a fragrance free option available too.

Barrier Restore Cream

I ADORE this!! It’s a lovely, creamy lightweight moisturiser which leaves my skin feeling so dewy and delicious. It glides onto my skin so smoothly and just melts right in. This is great for summer as it doesn’t feel too thick or heavy and is a great base for makeup. It definitely feels very hydrating and plump on my skin which I love. It’s packed full of antioxidants and peptides which help to restore your skin’s barrier (the clue is in the name) over time.

Peptide Glazing Fluid

When it comes to this product, I use it sparingly. Not because I don’t love it, but because I don’t think there’s a huge amount in the bottle and Rhode is generally in high demand so you may find yourself on the waitlist for a product. It feels like such a luxury using the peptide glazing fluid due to the way that it glides onto the skin and leaves a stunning glow. This paired with the BRC is the perfect skincare prep before makeup. Equally, on it’s own, people will be asking where you got your gorgeous glow!

Glazing Milk

I think this might be my favourite product so far !!!! This is to be used directly after cleansing to boost barrier function and hydrate your skin. It really does what it says on the bottle. From the first time I used this product my skin felt instantly more plump and hydrated. It leaves a really lovely dewy and glowy finish and has become an essential step in my routine. If I were to recommend any to use to ease you into the brand, the glazing milk would be it.
